Having become one of the most talked about bands on the emerging Death Metal circuit in recent years, AOAA have caused an international stir with their sludge tinged Death Metal, roping in both old school head bangers and newbie kids alike with their debut Before The Throne Of Infection. A full US run with Hate Eternal, Job For A Cowboy and All Shall Perish resulted in an explosion Stateside for the band’s popularity, followed by the band’s first Euro headliner in the summer with Viatrophy and Trigger The Bloodshed for the Dominatour. AOAA are about to return to the States this winter for a full US run with The Faceless, Vital Remains and Dying Fetus, followed by a UK tour with Fetus again and the almighty Cannibal Corpse, and a continuous stint of touring after that. The new album The Reign Of Darkness is a testament to how the band have evolved into the wrecking crew they have now become; huge slabs of groove and pounding intensity all topped off by a crisp production from Foel Studios (Paradise Lost, Napalm Death) and a sterling mix/master combo of Erik Rutan and Alan Douches; both at the very top of the ladder in the Metal production realm.
