Re-release of the band’s second full-length due to overwhelming demand. This French outfit has released a few solid albums over the years, but this particular release stands out as their finest moment among the early Blut Aus Nord releases. Following their debut album, Ultima Thulee, this second offering, entitled “Memoria Vetusta” is still the same kind of melodic and very atmospheric Black Metal. Performed by the duo of Ira Aeterna (6-stringed bass) and Vindsval (everything else), this is a dynamic and passionate, yet harsh and uncompromising tale of pagan suffering and ultimate revenge.
