Formed in 2006 by left-handed lead guitarist Eric Hersemann (Diabolic, Hate Eternal), GIGAN is a heavy, psychadelic band with no musical boundaries. High-velocity and musical dexterity are focal points, but never does the extremity overwhelm. Songs like "Occult Rites of the Uumpluuy", "Still Image Symphony", and "Hiding Behind the House of Mirrors" manage to propel the listener through solid songs structures and trance-inducing, melodic soundscapes, while refusing to ever provide a sonic sense of security before the auditory bedlam begins again. The GIGAN line-up is completed by Randy Piro on vocals/guitars (Hate Eternal) and Danny Ryan (drums/percussion).
