Michael Schenker first came into the eye of music fans as the guitarist of the Scorpions and then joined forces with Pete Way and Phil Mogg in the legendary hard rock/ heavy metal group UFO, before forming his own group, MSG. Vocalist Davey Pattison, grew up in Scotland and recorded with several groups before moving to the USA to join forces with Ronnie Montrose in Gamma with whom he recorded four records. Davey went on to record numerous records with Robin Trower and logged in many tours before teaming up with Schenker on the first Schenker/Pattison CD which is among Shrapnel's best sellers. Schenker/Pattison Summit is a melding of musical super powers. For the ultimate rhythm section, they enlisted help from one of rock's most well known drummers, Aynsley Dunbar (UFO, Journey, Starship, Whitesnake) as well as world-renowned bassist Tim Bogert (Jeff Beck, Cactus). Aptly titled "The Endless Jam Continues,” this CD picks up where the first CD left off and surpasses it, containing extended versions of rock classics such as “Layla” and “While My Guitar Gently Weeps” which feature some of the greatest guitar solos of Schenker's stellar career.
