This album is a master-class in killer riffs and has a guitar sound that hasn’t been heard since Entombed’s classic Wolverine Blues album. To consider this a ‘retro’ or old school album is to do it an injustice, it is much more than a throwback to the past. The material blends some elements of doom in, adding even more to the intensity level, the organic production amalgamates the primitive and progressive elements of the bands sound.
