The Crobar is London’s (and probably the world’s) favorite rock’n’roll & Metal bar. Founded in 2001, it quickly became the epicenter of London’s rock scene and is infamous throughout the UK and overseas for being THE place to hang out when in town. The Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl is one of many fans of the bar and even asked them to host the band’s aftershow party at his Wembley Stadium gigs last summer. Popular with musicians and drinkers alike , the bar’s jukebox is stuffed with the finest songs from the giants of the genre, as well as some cutting edge bands across four decades. And now, a selection has been gathered here on two CDs for the first in a series of compilations produced in conjunction with the Crobar & what you would hear if you were downing a shot or two of JD.
