The sound of this album is darker and closer to Prefab Wreckage than to recent releases. "You are Silent" is a return to the traditional, black metal sound of "Drowning but Learning" with influences from SUN RA and COIL. Recorded and co-produced by Tore Ylwizaker of ULVER, the range of sound, influence and atmosphere is startling.
