WIZARD is a synonym for heavy metal from Germany. In 2009 the band celebrates their 20th anniversary – 20 years of metal, shows and a whole lot of fun! Thor is the brand new and eighth album release from these speed / power metal heavyweights.

After honouring the gods father Odin in 2003 now the thunder god Thor was chosen. In October 2008 all recodrings were done with Andy Horn. Mixed and mastering were in the handled of Achim Köhler. Songs like Midgards Guardian, Ressurection or the ballad Serpents Venom will lead the listener to new worlds and will take care that there is no lack of headbanging! WIZARD are looking forward to a great 2009 with many shows, parties and a hell lot of metal!!!
