DENVER-BASED THRASHERS RETURN WITH THEIR SECOND ALBUM. WORKING WITH PRODUCER JAMES MURPHY, THE BAND TURNS THE HEAT UP WITH AMAZING NEW THRASH ANTHEMS.
On their 2009 debut, Burn, Havok quickly showed metalheads that they were much more than your average thrash band. Even Gene Hoglan (Fear Factory) took note of the young band saying, "Havok lays it down old-school heavy like a sharp stick in the eye." Time Is Up immediately showcases the band’s highly skilled musicianship. Blistering guitar work once again highlights the album. Song standouts include album opener “Prepare for Attack,” “Fatal Intervention,” “Covering Fire,” and “Scumbag in Disguise.” Drum work this time round improves tenfold. Havok formed in 2004. Burn was released in early spring of 2009. Havok live for the road! In support of Burn, the band completed national tours with Primal Fear, Hatchet, Wretched, Hammerfall and regional dates with Destruction, Cephalic Carnage, Exodus, Anthrax, and others. The band kicks off touring for Time Is Up early February alongside Malevolent Creation. Time Is Up reunites the band with illustrator Halsey Swain.
