Kayser saw the first ray of light in early June 2004 when Spice (ex-Spiritual Beggars), Mattias Svensson (also The Defaced), Bob Ruben (ex-The Mushroom River Band) and Fredrik Finnander (ex-Aeon) decided to join their forces. “No boundaries and no limits… and that goes for everything”, was the first statement from one of Europe’s most exciting bands. Their sound was described as a mutation of Black Sabbath, Megadeth and Slayer, with dips from different good bowls of classic and modern metal. Created by two talented and experienced musicians such as Spice and Svensson, Kayser enforces the pillars of metal with absolute authority, and there’s no doubt about the fact that Spice’s supreme vocals, mixed with the band’s emotional and musical expressions stretch from heavy introvert pounding to pure hate driven ferocity, originated one of the most interesting debut albums in the European metal scene. ‘Kaiserhof’ was recorded in Caesar Studios (Soilwork, The Defaced and more) and released in June 2005.  One year passed by and the Swedish metal machine came back in July 2006 with the new mini album ‘The Good Citizen EP’ and stunning summer live appearances, including Italy’s Evolution Festival, giving fans a very good appetizer before the upcoming release of the new full length CD ‘Frame The World… Hang It On The Wall’, recorded at Caesar Studios again and expected on Scarlet Records on the 16th October. The new album in already described as the natural development of the first one, again very riff-oriented and, at the same time, with a lot of groove under its belt, thanks to Spice’s powerful trade-mark vocals. Cover artwork was created by long time Dark Tranquillity’s guitar player and renowed artist Niklas Sundin. A big flash storm is going to take over the world of metal. Kayser is still alive and kickin’!
