Former Miles/Elvin Jones’ saxophonist Dave Liebman, Anthony Jackson & Mike Stern together with Liebman ‘s regular group members,Tony Marino, Marko Marcinko and Vic Juris turn in an incredible set inspired by this important moment in musical history. Saxophonist and respected jazz veteran Dave Liebman toured and recorded with jazz legends Elvin Jones (1971-1973) and Miles Davis (1973-1974). Liebman has led his own groups for the past 30 years and has also been amember of the acclaimed Saxophone Summit with whom he appeared on the cover "Downbeat" magazine in recent years. Highly influential bassist Anthony Jackson, has recording credits that number well over 500, which have resulted in more than 30 gold and platinum records, three Grammy awards and include recordings with Buddy Rich, Chick Corea, John Scofield, Paul Simon, Steely Dan and The OJays -- thats his flanged bassline on their million-selling single For The Love Of Money. Jazz guitar legend, Mike Stern, has recorded over a dozen impressive records as a solo artist and is a three-time Grammy nominee who is also known for his work with Miles Davis.
